David Rock - is our managing quantity surveyor and RICS Chartered professional. He has worked in both New Zealand and the UK on a variety of projects throughout the commercial residential and civil infrastructure sectors of the industry. David brings to CQS Group New Zealand considerable experience in commercial management and quantity surveying working with contract administration, managing payments, interim valuations, monitoring project costs, compiling weekly and monthly cost analysis reports, and final account settlements. He has excellent liaison skills and can communicate with all levels of individuals, from site staff, subcontractors, developers, and clients. David brings an inclusive, collaborative leadership style leading to foster a high performing, cohesive team culture which will deliver innovative solutions and the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Danny Le - is our managing cost consultant. He has more than 20 years of experience working internationally in Australia, Middle East and Southeast Asia on large scale commercial and residential projects. Danny has managed operations of CQS Group NZ since 2017 providing estimating and construction valuation services for many sub-division and multi-unit developments around Auckland. He pays attention to details and successfully builds high performing teams to satisfy all requirements of our clients. Danny brings a collaborative leadership style and fosters new and existing relationships within the industry.
Tiffany K - With more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Tiffany brings a wealth of cross sector experience to CQS . Proficient in cost
management, estimating and quantity surveying. She has experience in
contract negotiations, dispute resolution (expert witness ) and risk
management. She is determined and driven to ensure the best outcomes for
our clients by providing a high quality service that is reciprocated throughout
the teams she leads. Skilled in all aspects of Quantity surveying, Tiffany I
continues to drive success for our clients.
Chandika – With over fifteen years of experience in quantity surveying, Chandika is a seasoned professional at CQS. He holds a BSc. (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and an MSc. in Project Management, both from the UK. His expertise spans civil infrastructure, commercial and residential developments, as well as high-rise projects valued between NZ$50 to NZ$650 million. Chandika has worked across all phases of the project lifecycle, including pre- and post-contract stages, and has held key roles in consultancy, client-side, and contractor environments. He is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor known for his attention to detail, strong commercial acumen, and commitment to delivering value to clients.
Bill has extensive experience, both locally and internationally. He has worked on a variety of construction and refurbishment projects ranging from
shopping malls, prison, hospital, residential houses, commercial buildings,
university buildings, supermarkets, government housing (high-rise) and
interior refurbishments. His skill sets include professional quantity surveying
(PQS) and main contractor quantity surveying. Bill excels in both pre and
post contract services and has excellent communication skills. He is
motivated and and an integral member of CQS to deliver positive outcomes
for our clients.
Trinie F - Trinie brings to CQS a wealth of experience spanning both locally and
internationally including a portfolio of diverse projects in the United Arab
Emirates and Sri Lanka. Having obtained a Masters of Construction in
Quantity Surveying from Massey University, he possesses expertise in
contracts and measurement methods. He is recognised by our clients for his
diligent work ethic and adeptness at handling QS activities, Trinie
consistently rises to meet new positive outcomes for our clients.
Nuwan H - With over seventeen years of experience in quantity surveying, site
management, and cost management, Nuwan is a seasoned professional at
CQS. Holding an MSc. in Project Management in Construction from the
University of Salford, UK, and a BSc. (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from the
University of Wolverhampton, UK. His expertise encompasses commercial
management, cost planning, contract administration, and is also proficient
in Auto-CAD. Nuwan is an asset to our clients and is a hardworking and self
motivated individual who strives for the best outcomes for our clients.
Victor P - Victor brings to CQS more than 10 years of experience in the construction
industry. Proficient in estimating cost management, tender documentation,
pricing variations of construction project and claim management. He also
has extensive experience in contract negotiations and negotiating final
accounts. He consistently shows dedication and a “can do attitude “ for our
clients.
Helen H - With over 10 years of experience as a QS. Helen is experienced in
procurement, contract administration, and post-contract services. She
possesses strong logical thinking and excellent mathematical skills. She is
hardworking, diligent, has a great attention to detail and takes great pride
and responsibility for her work with our clients.
Kevin N - brings extensive experience in commercial, residential, and civil
projects throughout New Zealand. Proficient in quantity and cost
management, he excels in measurement, estimating, and project
management . He works closely with our clients to understand their goals
and objectives ensuring possible project outcomes. He has great
communication skills and is confident in safeguarding our clients interests.
